Born and raised in Detroit, Chris Camper’s interest in the law was sparked by that famous TV attorney, Matlock, who he watched as a seventh-grader at Edgar A. Guest Middle School. He attended Grand Valley State University on a football scholarship, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Legal Studies in 2005. He went on to the University Of Detroit Mercy School Of Law, earning his Juris Doctor in 2010. While attending UDM Law, Chris was awarded the prestigious Book Award for his efforts in the Trial Practice course. He was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 2010. Chris specializes in personal injury cases arising out of motor vehicle accidents, premises liability and other acts of negligence. Inside the courtroom, he has earned a reputation as a tough negotiator who fights diligently for his clients. Chris’ upbringing has instilled in him a compassion that compels him to “pay it forward.” As such, outside the courtroom, he is a member of two non-profit organizations geared toward goal-setting and personal development for inner-city youth.
